ADHD Peer Support with TideMinds Therapy

A 7-week virtual program for ADHD or neurodiverse faculty and staff to build skills, share experiences, and create a supportive space for growth and understanding.

Whether you’ve lived with ADHD for years, were recently diagnosed, or simply think you might be neurodiverse but haven’t pursued a formal assessment, this group is here to meet you where you are. All are welcome. 

Sessions are private and confidential, led by a skilled professional who also understands ADHD from their own lived experience. Hosted through UBC's Centre for Workplace Accessibility, this program is created by TideMinds Therapy Collective

Who this program is for

This program is for UBC staff and faculty who have, or think they might have, ADHD. 

It’s also for anyone who finds planning, prioritizing, organizing, staying on task, or managing emotions challenging. 

You don’t need a formal diagnosis to join. 

What to expect 

Sessions include short education segments, evidence-based strategies you can use in daily life, interactive discussions, and breakout rooms for peer connection and support. 

Learning outcomes

  • Learn about ADHD: Understand the science and your lived experience.
  • Practical strategies: Build skills for organization, focus, and emotional self-care.
  • Community: Connect with other neurodiverse staff and faculty in a safe, supportive space.

Format

  • Weekly sessions over 7 weeks
  • Virtual (Zoom) with auto captions provided
  • 1.5 hours per session
  • Led by registered clinical counsellors from TideMinds Therapy Collective
  • Presentation materials will be provided in advance, as much as possible.
