Travel and immigration during COVID-19

This page has information and FAQ for managers and supervisors related to travel and immigration during this time.

Immigration and assisting newcomers to Canada

UBC's Housing and Relocation Services has developed a self-isolation resource package in response to the Government of Canada requiring newcomers to Canada entering Canada by air, sea or land to self-isolate for 14 days whether or not they have symptoms of COVID-19. The document provides helpful instructions when planning on travelling to Canada, with links to resources such as temporary accommodation, travel options from point of entry to place of self-isolation, grocery delivery and concierge services.

Please visit the Immigration page for this resource.

If you need immigration assistance, please contact Director of Housing and Relocation Services Siobhan Murphy by email or phone 604-822-2089.
