30-Day Online Mindfulness Challenge 

This free, innovative, evidence-based training is open to all UBC staff and faculty looking to incorporate mindfulness into the workplace and in their everyday lives. Content is delivered online via any device and focuses on simple yet powerful and achievable learning objectives. After just 10 minutes a day for 30 consecutive days, participants will have the tools to be healthier, more productive and better able to problem-solve and work in a team. Learn more and register for the challenge now.

UBC Vancouver

  1. Physical Activity Peer Coaching (Online) – free 1-on-1 peer Physical Activity Coaching sessions. 
  2. Move More, Learn More (In-person) – a 7-week program designed for Asian Women students who want to improve their health and fitness. Registration closes October 6th. 
  3. Wellbeing Walks (In-person) – free themed Wellbeing Walks twice a month on Thursdays, 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.
  4. Lunch + Lift (Online) – a series of free 2-in-1 interactive wellbeing workshops consisting of a 30-minute movement class, followed by a 30-minute interactive wellbeing session facilitated by a UBC wellbeing professional. This semester’s Lunch + Lift wellbeing sessions will include the following topics: 
    •    Sept. 22: Positive Coping Strategies with Miranda Massie
    •    Oct. 27: Digital Eye Strain & Visual Ergonomics with Abigail Overduin
    •    Nov. 24: Mindfulness & Meditation with Aisha Tejani
  5. Movement Breaks (In-person or Online) – 5-10 minute movement breaks both in person and online.
