With the acquisition of LifeWorks (UBC's Employee and Family Assistance Program provider) by TELUS Health, faculty and staff may notice some changes to the branding on some of the LifeWorks’ pages.
This includes the LifeWorks home page, but the LifeWorks platform has not yet transitioned to the TELUS Health brand.
We wanted to assure faculty and staff that these changes do not affect the services offered by our EFAP provider and that there will be no changes to the privacy considerations we have in place with LifeWorks.
An important reminder, even though faculty and staff are accessing the EFAP services using the CWL, the information and your activity on the platform is completely confidential — your LifeWorks data is not connected with your UBC profile.
We will be updating our benefits plan members as more information is provided. For more information on the transition from LifeWorks to TELUS Health, please take a look at the updates.
