Starting Thursday, May 28, HR will begin implementing general wage increases (GWI) for CUPE 116 employees. Two general wage increases will be applied – 3% effective April 1, 2025, and 3% effective April 1, 2026 – on target for the June 15 pay cheque.
Complete/cancel entries by Wednesday, May 27
To ensure accurate data and successful implementation, please complete or cancel all outstanding salary-related transactions (e.g. Compensation Change, Change Job) for CUPE 116 employees in Workday by Wednesday, May 27 at 3:00 pm.
Pending transactions may result in departments being responsible for entering the GWI transaction(s) after the in-progress transactions are completed.
Resume entries on Monday, June 8
Where possible, we encourage departments to not enter new transactions for CUPE 116 employees during the processing window: May 28–June 7. Entries may resume on Monday, June 8.
