Understanding your UBC Staff Pension Plan (UYSPP) Workshop

Understanding Your UBC Staff Pension Plan (UYSPP) is an informative, 90-minute workshop for active UBC Staff Pension Plan members. All ages are welcome to attend. This workshop helps members learn about their Plan, pensions in general, and related retirement considerations. If you are interested in retirement planning, this workshop will help you understand your retirement options.

This workshop is live and takes place on June 26, 2024 from 1:30 to 3:00 pm via Zoom video conferencing. When you are successfully enrolled here in WPL, you will then be prompted by email to review your syllabus and register for your Zoom session. Zoom will then send you the unique URL you’ll need in order to access the workshop session.

***If you are close to retiring, you may wish to schedule a Retirement Information Session (RIS) rather than attend this workshop, as we will be able to review your specific situation including pension estimates. Please contact Margaret Leathley at margaret.leathley@ubc.ca for more information.
