That can be overcome through building a healthy relationship based on an ongoing commitment of time and effort. What does radical self-care and solidarity look like in the context of Indigenous, Black, and People of Colour communities (IBPOC) during these unprecedented times and how can we engage in meaningful conversations when so many of us are in survival mode? This self-guided course focuses on increasing mental health literacy through self-care for individuals. Participants will learn about the body’s stress response and how to identify these responses in themselves. This free, innovative, evidence-based training is for all UBC staff and faculty looking to incorporate mindfulness into the workplace and in their everyday lives. UBC Recreation: Play and Learn at home │ Ongoing Classes

UBC Rec is bringing guided play and learning to your living room! They are offering your family free live streamed activity sessions on a variety of topics: art, science, nutrition, drama, wellness, enrichment and more.
