Lowering the flag on the National Day of Mourning

Flags at the Vancouver and Okanagan campuses were lowered on Thursday, April 28, recognizing the National Day of Mourning to remember lives lost in the workplace and resolve to prevent future tragedies.

We stand together as a university community to remember Harmandeep Kaur, a UBC Okanagan Campus Security team member whose tragic death at the end of February was felt across UBC.
