Welcome Back Staff BBQ returns this fall

UBC Vancouver staff are invited to the annual Welcome Back Staff BBQ this September.

Help make the BBQ waste-free! Bring your own water bottle and plate, and recycle or compost everything else. Onsite sustainability attendants will be available to help and answer questions. 

Each year, the President’s Office and Human Resources welcomes staff to the new academic year with the Welcome Back Staff BBQ at the UBC Vancouver campus.

Produced by Ceremonies & Events, the event is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a complimentary BBQ lunch, live entertainment, connect with colleagues and fellow UBC staff, and engage with community partners at the informational booths. The menu will include plant-based and gluten-free options.

Missed the RSVP deadline?  Staff can register on the day of the event by providing their full name at the onsite registration tables. (Note: food cannot be guaranteed for day-of registrants).
