Thank you to everyone who participated in our first UBC LIFT Corporate Fitness Challenge! From April 15 to May 15, 183 UBC staff and faculty members took to their living rooms, yoga mats, or outdoor spaces to participate in a virtual fitness challenge.
In the span of one month, participants completed 4,562 fitness sessions, equating to 2,972 hours spent towards fostering their physical health! Walking and jogging was the most popular activity completed by the participating staff (41%), followed by the LIFT Fitness Sessions (18%). Take time to celebrate your achievement – you took charge of your physical health, a crucial aspect of your overall wellbeing!
Congratulations to the Lions team for winning the challenge by having the highest number of fitness sessions completed over the one-month period.
