Flu clinic at UBC

The Pharmacists Clinic at the UBC Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences is a participant in the Provincial Influenza Campaign, which provides influenza vaccination (flu shots) free of charge to eligible BC residents. Book your appointment to visit the Flu clinic and get your free flu shot this fall (advanced registration required).

We don’t always take the time to care for and nurture ourselves and we sometimes require support in integrating relaxation and our personal needs into daily life. This facilitated webinar focuses on increasing mental health literacy through self-care for individuals. Positive coping strategies: Supporting your mental health, October 8 & 15, 2020, 9:00 a.m. – 9:45 a.m.

We all have go-to habits that we turn to in times of high stress or challenge, but are these habits working for you or against you?  In this session, you will have the opportunity to learn about concepts like resilience and coping while testing out coping practices that have been shown to support mental health and wellbeing. Learn more and register here.

Mindful Parents, Resilient Children: How mindfulness & self-compassion can support families during times of uncertainty, October 22, 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

Uncertainty can greatly increase stress levels for families. This webinar discusses how mindfulness and compassion skills can support parents and caregivers through highly emotional situations when feeling stressed or overwhelmed.
