Register for the Not Myself Today initiative

Not Myself Today is a mental health initiative by the Canadian Mental Health Association. UBC staff and faculty can sign up to become ambassadors with Not Myself today and gain access to an online mental health tool kit to share with their team to thrive together.

NMT has three main goals: build greater awareness of the importance of mental health in the workplace, reduce stigma and foster a safe and supportive workplace culture. NMT includes access to an online platform that provides guidance, downloadable resources and support for UBC Ambassadors to take evidence-informed action. NMT is designed to keep things simple, with easy-to-use guides to facilitate action and activities including tips for embedding more mental health conversations in your workplace.

HERE IS A SNAPSHOT OF SOME OF OUR FAVOURITE RESOURCES FROM THE TOOL KIT:

THE ENTIRE NOT MYSELF TODAY TOOL KIT INCLUDES:

Planning Support: different plan options, implementation guides and orientation support

Kick-off Materials: customizable communications, PowerPoints and short videos

Awareness-building Materials: posters, postcards, web banners, infographics and more

Engagement Activities: six different modules including activities, tools, resources and learning opportunities; also includes an Ambassador's Guide offering additional information, tools and resources for rollout.

Evaluation Tools: evaluation surveys conducted by an independent research team at the Propel Centre for Population Health Impact (University of Waterloo) to gather insights on mental health and to assess the specific impact in your workplace.
