Applications now open for the 2025 Developing Leaders Program

Applications for the Winter 2025 Developing Leaders Program are now open.

The Developing Leaders Program (DLP) is a leadership development program for new and early-career managers, aimed at building their capacity to lead with greater confidence and effectiveness. This program is designed to equip newer leaders with the knowledge, skills and practices necessary to lead, succeed and grow in their leadership roles at UBC.

Following a successful first cycle, the Developing Leaders Program continues to build on the rich legacy of the Managing at UBC program. Applications are now open for the 2025 program. Both the applicant and their supervisor are required to participate in the application process.

The DLP is open to Management & Professional (M&P) employees at both campuses who manage direct reports and have three years or less of team-leading experience.

More information about eligibility, program expectations and schedules can be found on the Developing Leaders Program page

Apply by noon on Friday, November 22.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the program team at leadership@hr.ubc.ca.
