Share your experience in the 2024 Workplace Experiences Survey

UBC faculty and staff are invited to take part in WES 2024

The 2024 Workplace Experiences Survey (WES) will open on Monday, November 4. WES is one of UBC's largest university-wide surveys, and it gives faculty and staff the opportunity to share important feedback about their experience working at UBC. The insights gained from WES will be extremely valuable in shaping priorities and initiatives at the university-wide, departmental, or unit levels, and ensuring that UBC continues to lead as a diverse, inclusive, safe and vibrant workplace.

All UBC faculty and staff are invited to take part in the WES, which is running November 4 – 22.

Help us achieve a strong response rate

Participants are encouraged to complete the survey during regular working hours, which will take an estimated 15-20 minutes to complete. This year we are aiming for a 50% response rate to WES.

Higher participation will ensure each unit or department will have more representative insights to inform more targeted actions around workplace experience.

Unique participation links

You can expect to receive an email on Monday, November 4 with your unique link to access the survey from our survey partner – TalentMap. Please do not forward this link as only one response can be captured per link.

To ensure that the survey is confidential, UBC has partnered with Canadian-based survey provider, TalentMap. Details on how your feedback is kept confidential including where data is stored, what data is collected, and who has access are available on the WES webpage.
