General Wage Increase Implementation for IUOE 115

The GWI for staff under the IUOE 115 employee group has been completed. Two GWIs, $0.25/hour + 3.24% effective April 1, 2022, and 6.75% effective April 1, 2023, will be reflected on the September 29, 2023, pay cheque.

General Wage Increase Implementation for Non-Union Technicians & Research Assistants

The GWI for staff under the Non-Union Technicians & Research Assistants employee group has been completed. Two GWIs, $0.25/hour + 3.24% effective July 1, 2022, and 6.75% effective July 1, 2023, will be reflected on the September 29, 2023, pay cheque. Please use the 2023 salary scales for this employee group moving forward. 

As a reminder, please continue to use the current 2021 salary scales until GWI has been implemented for employees in the AAPS employee group. GWI for new hires will be included in the implementation process. If you must use the anticipated 2023 salary scales, please contact HR’s Operational Excellence team at HR.OpExSupport@ubc.ca or your Compensation Associate/Consultant.
