For the third year, we are launching Workplace Wellbeing Ambassador Program (WWA).
The WWA program is a partnership between dedicated UBC faculty and staff in faculties, departments and units across the Vancouver campus and the Health and Wellbeing team. Ambassadors act as liaisons to embed health and wellbeing practices within UBC workplaces
This year at UBC Vancouver, we have over 40 Ambassadors spread across various units and departments. Ambassadors will work to:
- Increase awareness of UBC health and wellbeing resources for faculty and staff
- Increase health literacy at the faculty/department/unit level
- Provide opportunities to expand their knowledge and skills to act as wellbeing champions within their faculty/department/unit
Check out the list of Ambassadors and feel free to connect with the Ambassador in your unit. And if you would like to learn a little more about the life and times of our WWAs, check out these profiles:
Congratulations to the current Ambassadors!
For our UBCO colleagues, don’t worry we haven’t forgotten you! Indeed, we will be calling out for Okanagan-based WWAs early in the new year! Watch this space.
