Old: June 1, 2019 | New: June 1, 2020 | |
General minimum wage | $13.85/hour | $14.60/hour |

As of June 1, 2020, UBC’s Payroll department will automatically raise the hourly rate of any employees paid below the new minimum wage to the new rate of $14.60/hour.
If your faculty or department has salaried students, please ensure that their salary is at least equivalent to the minimum wage for the number of hours they work.
