November is Thrive month: explore the signature events to support your mental health

Our signature events for Thrive, our month-long mental health literacy campaign, are now available.

Now in the 16th year, the Thrive campaign encourages students, faculty, and staff to learn about, talk about, and explore ways to support our mental health at UBC.

Date: Thursday, November 20, 2025 | Time: 11 am–12 pm | Location: Zoom

In an era of change and uncertainty, higher education is experiencing profound shifts. Some shifts were anticipated; others emerged without warning—all are reshaping how we teach, learn, and work together.

Join UBC alumna and Sauder School of Management and Executive Education instructor, Dr. Marie-Hélène Pelletier for this hour-long online event, as she draws upon her unique blend of business insight and clinical expertise as a practicing workplace psychologist. In this keynote, Dr. Pelletier will challenge common assumptions and offer practical strategies to help individuals, teams, and organizations navigate change and uncertainty—not just to adapt to this current moment but to turn these challenges into opportunities.
