Thrive Roundtable is back on November 5
Building on last year's successful launch of the Thrive Roundtable, we are bringing it back for 2024, with the topic: Cultivating Thriving Teaching, Learning & Working Environments.
This will be a forum for faculty, students, and staff to discuss and share strategies for fostering thriving teaching, learning and working environments that promote mental health, wellbeing, and inclusive practices.
Date and time: November 5 | 10 am—12 pm
Location: Join us online or In person on the UBC Vancouver campus at the Hydro Theatre, in the Centre for Interactive Research on Sustainability (CIRS): 2260 West Mall
Light refreshments will be provided for those in person on the Vancouver campus.

UBCO Thrive Coffee Kick-off
Come by for a hot beverage, connect with your peers and colleagues, and learn more about Thrive & UBC resources to support mental health.
The Thrive Coffee Kick-off event is free and open to all at the Okanagan campus at different locations: The Campus Administration Building (ADM) and the University Center (UNC).

UBCO Recreation free events for Thrive
Not to be outdone, UBCO’s Rec team will be hosting free group fitness classes, intercultural activities and kids' games day, all for free during Thrive month!
Details will be announced in the November edition of Healthy UBC and on the UBCO Recreation website.
Get connected and get cozy with Thrive by the Fire at UBC Vancouver
To celebrate the start of Thrive month, we are pleased to bring you Thrive by the Fire, a cozy concert outdoors.
Social connection and community are powerful ways to support your mental health. This one-day pop-up event will transform Lee Square into a cozy relaxation space with toasty table seatings and chill tunes from UBC’s own student musicians from the Blank Vinyl Project.
Everyone is welcome at this FREE drop-in style event:

- Money and Raymond M.C. Lee Square, outside by the UBC Bookstore
- Limited toasty table seating available on a first-come-first-served basis
- Thrive resource booths
The event takes place outdoors and will run rain or shine (tenting is available in the event of rain).
