Merit increases in progress for 2023 – avoid entering transactions until December 13

The merit increases to salary are in progress for Executive Administrative Staff, Farm Workers, Management & Professional (AAPS), and Non-Union Technicians and Research Assistants. The increases are targeted for the December 15 pay.

To facilitate the process, please clear out any outstanding salary-related transactions (e.g. Compensation Change, Change Job) in Workday for employees receiving merit as soon as possible, and avoid entering new salary-related transactions until December 13. This will ensure that the correct data is accurate for merit-eligible employees, and that transactions are loaded successfully. This only impacts staff receiving merit that is being processed centrally.

Merit increases for employees who have compensation-related transactions completed or in-progress between December 1 to 13 may not be loaded by the ISC. Please check these employees’ records on December 13. If the merit transactions have not been loaded, the department will be responsible for entering the merit transaction(s) after the in-progress transactions are completed.
