Opting out of Student Health Plan
With the rush of back-to-school activities, one item that may be overlooked is if your overage dependent child may opt-out of their post-secondary institution’s Student Health Plan. Opting-out means that your dependent child is declining coverage under their Student Health plan because they are still covered under their parent’s Extended Health and Dental Care plans.

UBC HR has partnered with Boreal Wellness Centres Inc. to offer Resilient Living™ Recovery, a non-12 step, mindfulness-based addiction treatment program to help reduce or stop problematic substance use.
