What is CBT?
CBT involves techniques that you can practice every day so that healthy thinking comes naturally. It focuses on thought (cognitive) and action (behavioural).1 Some people work with a therapist or a counsellor to learn CBT and others use self-guided digital programs based on CBT such as CareNow.
CareNow is not a replacement for crisis services. If you are experiencing a crisis, please call the LifeWorks Care Access Centre 24/7 at 1-800-387-4765 to reach UBC's Employee and Family Assistance Program.
