CUPE 116 Aquatic Tentative Agreement
We are pleased to share that the University Aquatic Centre and CUPE 116 have reached a tentative agreement. This agreement covers the period January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2025. It is the fifth agreement reached between UBC and one of its bargaining agents in this round of negotiations.
Wage increases under this agreement are consistent with the BC Government’s 2022 Shared Recovery Mandate. The renewed agreement also reflects the mutual interests of both the Union and the University in our many strategic plans and operational initiatives. These details, along with other elements and improvements, will be communicated once the agreement is ratified by both parties.
